List of Documents for KVAT Registration :Refer Circular No 10/2006

The following are the procedures involved in KVAT registration in kerala

1. Registration Fee in the form of DD / Challan from a Scheduled Bank in favour of Assessing Authority at the same station as the Assessing Authority.

2. Five Passport Size Photographs of the Proprietor/All partners/Directors and Copy of PAN Card.

3. Address Proof of the Proprietor/All partners/Directors such as Passport/Electoral Identity Card or Driving License.

4. An attested copy of Partnership Deed / Memorandum of Association & Article of Association & Certificate of Incorporation & Photocopy of PAN card of the Firm.

5. Certified copy of Resolution of its Partners to apply for Registration and authorizing a Partner/Director to apply on its behalf.

6. Power of Attorney if necessary.

7. Lease Deed should be attested by the Bank Manager of the Applicant or required to be Notarized & Corporation Tax Receipt for the current period.

8. An affidavit in Non Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs 100/- duly Notarized.

9. Corporation License and Fee Receipt of the Building.

10. Copy of TIN Registration if held in other States.

11. Security Deposit for KVAT & CST in the form of 6 Yr FD in Nationalized Banks in the Name of Commercial Tax Officer/Asst Commissioner of the same Station or NSC Taken in the name of Proprietor or partner and pledged in the name of Commercial Tax Officer.

12. Form-1 Application for Registration Duly signed by the Gazetted Officer.

13. Form – 2A – Details of Authorized Signatories.

14. Form No A – Application for Registration U/s 7(1) & 7(2) CST duly affixed with Court Fee Stamp of Rs 25/-.

15. List of Details of Commodities dealt With the Business.

16. Details of Current Account with SBI or SBT- Name of Bank, Branch, Account No & Type of Account.
